Kanjeevaram sarees have always been close to my heart, shaped by the memories and sartorial choices of the women in my family across generations. Sarees being my most cherished attire—especially during the Margazhi season—bring with them a search for drapes that feel just right in colour, weave, and spirit. This season, I picked up a lovely blue saree with an orange border from Taneira. The authenticity of the weave and the richness of the colour combination appealed to me instantly. It felt beautiful, effortless, and comfortable to wear.
